Anxiously awaiting Friday, and the start of a new Bonnie mystery. I did Easy Street last year, it was my first Bonnie Mystery, I loved the process, and sharing with others our progress. Easy Street got 2 ribbons this year, third at my guild show and third at the state fair. Bonnies quilts take on a swagger of their own. I have only been quilting about 3 years, and I learned tremendously from Bonnie, she is an awesome teacher and designer of quilts. Good Luck to us all!!!

Easy Street Finish

Enjoyed the journey Bonnie! Fantastic way to start the New Year. Many new challenges for me . I'll be on the Roll Call for your next Mystery Quilt. This is not something I would have picked for myself either in colors or design, but I love it, now that it is done. I am going to do a small pink inner border with a Turquoise outter border, and gray binding. Bonnie grew me tremendously as a quilter. :) Kudos Bonnie, your the best.

Easy Street Part 4

Part 4 finished and trimmed to size. Green is all cut and ready for part 5.  I can't imagine how this will finally come together, but I am sure Bonnie has some awesome design in store for us.
This is Cheyenne my pretty little Granddaughter, she is my constant helper, saying she wants to "make too".  So I give her scraps which she ties on the dogs and decorates them, then she has a small pair of saftey scissors that she is learning to cut with., and yes she has already cut her hair..I am teaching her early to sew!! She will be 4 in March.

I had not made them before, and Bonnies video gave me the info needed to be successful!  Thanks again Bonnie. I am learn ing so many cool things with Bonnie.

Easy Street Part 1

It has been fun in anticipation of Easy Street, collecting the fabrics, here and there. And finally the unveil, I got started, and thought oh my, I think I cut too many squares, and started worring if I had, and would I have enough fabric left..as I neared the finish line, I breathed a sigh of relief, the count was 192 four patches..What a relief..No mistake just lots of squares..In the process I learned to twist those seams and did a pretty job of that for the first time..:) Never too old to learn..Bonnie is such a great teacher. check back with Bonnie@ http://quiltville.blogspot.com/2012/11/easy-street-monday-link-up-1.html
