Easy Street Part 1
It has been fun in anticipation of Easy Street, collecting the fabrics, here and there. And finally the unveil, I got started, and thought oh my, I think I cut too many squares, and started worring if I had, and would I have enough fabric left..as I neared the finish line, I breathed a sigh of relief, the count was 192 four patches..What a relief..No mistake just lots of squares..In the process I learned to twist those seams and did a pretty job of that for the first time..:) Never too old to learn..Bonnie is such a great teacher. check back with Bonnie@ http://quiltville.blogspot.com/2012/11/easy-street-monday-link-up-1.html

You are right Crystal. Bonnie is a great teacher. I have learned so much from her, just by watching her Quilt Cams and following her blog. I had never managed to twist those seems before and I did this time! Have fun!
ReplyDeleteand we only just began, wonder what else is in store for us! You have fun too, now I am anxiously awaiting Friday, yet again ;)
DeleteLove your colors, can't wait to see how your quilt progresses.

Thanks, my other colors are same as bonnies except for the purple, I am using pink there. You have a great week too
DeleteYour 4-patches look lovely. I love the twisting thing and it really does help the blocks lie flatter.
